- First Quantum Minerals Ltd: A multinational mining and metals company, First Quantum Minerals operates the Kansanshi Mine, one of the largest copper mines in Zambia.
- Barrick Gold Corporation: Barrick Gold has operations in Zambia, including the Lumwana mine, which is a large copper mine located in the North Western Province.
- Glencore: Glencore is a major player in the Zambian mining industry, involved in the extraction and export of copper and cobalt.
- Vedanta Resources: Vedanta owns the Konkola Copper Mines (KCM), one of the largest copper producers in Zambia.
- Mopani Copper Mines Plc: Mopani is a joint venture company comprising Glencore, First Quantum Minerals, and ZCCM Investments Holdings. It operates the Mufulira and Nkana copper mines.
- Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines-Investment Holdings (ZCCM-IH): ZCCM-IH is a state-owned investment holding company with interests in various mining ventures, including copper and gemstones.
- Barrick Lumwana Mining Company (LMC): LMC is a subsidiary of Barrick Gold and operates the Lumwana copper mine in Zambia.
- Chibuluma Mines: Chibuluma Mines PLC is a copper mining company based in Zambia’s Copperbelt region.
- Luiri Gold Mines Ltd: Luiri Gold is involved in the exploration and development of gold projects in Zambia.
- Kagem Mining Limited: Kagem is the world’s largest producer of emeralds and operates the Kagem emerald mine in Zambia.
- NFCA Mining: NFCA (Non-Ferrous Company Africa) is a Chinese-owned mining company with operations in Chambishi.
